Who I Am
HI! I'm Hope!
Doula, and mom of one, passionate about birth work and helping women on their reproductive wellness journey. Going through my own birth experience with my son and having that lack of constant support ignited a fire in me to support women at every stage. I have been a doula for over 5 years.
DONA international trained and CPR/First Aid Certified, I am experienced in not only traditional vaginal deliveries but also c-sections and can support you in every area of your birth plan; along with providing support before and after childbirth.

How will hiring you affect my partner’s role during the birth?
I am here to fully support you and your partner with the knowledge and resources needed to sustain a constant bond through labor and delivery. I also offer classes and specialized sessions to make sure your partner is not only educated about birth and your experience but also emotionally capable of being there for you in the delivery room.
What role do you play in my pregnancy and birth?
Prior to birth, I provide information about the birth process in general, a variety of comfort measures and coping skills, and common procedures. As well as providing emotional and physical support during this time. As I accompany a woman in labor, my primary responsibility is to be present in every sense. I provide continuous care up to 18 hours, wherein I will call a backup doula that we previously agreed on to continue your care.
Do I still need a doula even if I'm not having a natural childbirth/unmedicated birth?
Yes! I have experience in planned and unplanned c-sections as well as medicated births and unmedicated births. My job is to cater to you however you choose to birth, to make birthing a little easier, and to make the transition back home smoother. I'm here for you and your needs regardless of what they are.

Hope has been so supportive and helpful through this journey. As a first time mom there’s things that I wouldn’t think to have to ease labor. She has prepared us well for what to expect and coming up with a birth plan. Although we are over an hour away from her she took the drive willingly to assist my fiancé and I. She really focused on the experience rather than being pressed for time or money. She is also very affordable and made us feel like we were getting everything we could from each session.
